Advancing horticulture and plant breeding through innovative research in crop improvement, stress response, and plant-based health benefits.
The Horticultural Research and Innovation Group is dedicated to advancing the field of horticulture through cutting-edge research and practical applications. Our focus encompasses a wide range of topics, including transcriptomics, metabolomics, fruit nutritional quality, and genome-wide analysis, particularly in response to abiotic stress. We specialize in horticultural techniques such as grafting, the use of chemicals and hormones, and optimizing the propagation process. Moreover, we also work on breeding of horticultural and other agronomic crops especially soyabean and health benefits of plants in rehabilitation of humans.
